A complete Qur'an copied in fluid muḥaqqaq and rayḥān, the opening bifolium with a sumptuous double-page sarlawh of intersecting cartouches in lapis and gold, the margins flowering with scrolling cloud-bands. The kufic chapter headings are picked out in white reserve, and discreet polychrome rosettes mark each tenth verse.
A nineteenth-century lacquered binding preserves the original signatures.
